LightYou ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

LightYou is a privacy-first reading app. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification (name, email, phone, address)
• Account credentials
• Browsing or reading history
• Location data
• Device identifiers used for advertising
• Analytics or tracking data

The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral trackers, or analytics services.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All articles, highlights, notes, and settings you create are stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your data.

If you choose to enable WebDAV synchronization, your data is uploaded directly to your own WebDAV server (such as Nextcloud, iCloud Drive WebDAV, or any provider you choose). We are not the recipient of this data.

3. Network Access

The app uses your device's network connection to:

• Fetch and parse the content of URLs you explicitly save
• Sync to a WebDAV server you have configured (optional)
